Please help us in welcoming Kara Schaefer to the Hope Plumbing Team!
Kara joins the team as a Customer Care Associate.
We took some time to get to know Kara in her first week and this is what we learned:
Hope Plumbing: Where did you grow up?
Kara Schaefer: I was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana. But I have lived in Indianapolis for the past nine years.
Previous career?
KS: For the past three years, I was a Customer Service Representative at Angie’s List.
HP: Tell me about your husband.
KS: I am celebrating five years of marriage with Seth on August 17th! He works at Rabb & Howe Cabinet Top Company
HP: Do you have any pets?
KS: Our pets are our children! We have two Husky’s and a German Shepard Mix – all adopted. Tika (10), Freya (3), and Luna (1).
HP: Now a few quick questions: What hobbies do you have?
KS: We love playing video games, camping, and hiking! Our favorite camping spot in Brown County State Park (we got married there)!
HP: What is your favorite Indianapolis restaurant?
KS: Keystone Sports Review to my go-to spot. The honey hot sauce wings are hands down the BEST in the city.
HP: Favorite television show?
KS: No question, Game of Thrones.
HP: Lastly, what most excites you about your new job at Hope Plumbing?
KS: Being a part of a close-knit group instead of a big corporation and being able to make a difference in the community I live in.
